no more kids.
so, its done, and lets just say it was the most humiliating thing i have ever done. and i delivered both kids vaginally. so it was pretty embarrassing. ill just say that.
but - it is done, and i am okay with it. our girls are enough to fullfill our lives. other people will just have to get knocked up in a few years when i start going thru baby withdrawls. yep, like my sisters lol.

IUD
so, todays the day. Today i make the decision to not have any more babies, a decision that yesterday i was okay with, but today i dont know... i know i can take it out, but they say it is sometimes not possible to get pregnant again when you have had one, which is why they wont give it to someone who doesnt have any kids. We dont need to have anymore, we are very lucky to have the beautiful girls we have, but i think i will regret this.
but since we are already broke enough, i guess its the right thing to do.
What if we never experience having a boy? how will matt be never having the son he wants? Thats probably my biggest worry. i know we will be fine, but you know...
Also, everyone is telling me that it is gonna hurt pretty bad for a few days... so i am a little nervous about that, and what all the side affects will be, hopefully my body reacts well to this because it will save a ton of money compared to taking the pill or any other form.
so, well see. but im bummed today about it.
good or bad, yall are gna hear about it, lol.

games for the shower, help me pick...
okay so here are my game ideas, i am just copying and pasting from whereim fiding them so i dont have to type as much...
1. Feel Upcontributed by Cheryl
Two guests stand in the middle of the room facing each other. The hostess or a designated person then blindfolds each player. The hostess then strategically places 5 clothespins on each player. The players then must "feel up" the other player to find the clothespins on the other player. Whoever gets the most clothespins in the designated time (usually 1 minute) is the WINNER! Lots of laughs!
2. What you need: two metal pie pans (or plastic plates), four dice, a big pile of wrapped prizes, a timer.
This game usually begins very lady-like and ends up somewhat cutthroat as everyone tends to get a little competitive with all the activity going on and time running out.
Begin by placing everyone's chairs in a circle. Pile the prizes up in the middle of the circle on the floor. Two dice are placed in each pie pan. One pie pan gets passed around the circle clockwise, the other goes counter-clockwise. As the pie pan reaches each guest, s/he rolls the pair of dice. Every time a 6 is rolled, the guest can take a prize from the pile. If two 6's are rolled, they can take two prizes.
Once all of the prizes are gone out of the center, each time a 6 is rolled, the person who rolled it can steal a prize from anyone else. Things start going really fast around this time, since you have pie pans being passed in both directions (you might roll a 6, and then have another pie pan passed to you from the other direction before you even have a chance to stand up). There are times when you roll a 6 and get up to steal someone's prize, and before you can return to your seat, someone else has rolled a 6 and is stealing your prize away!
Continue "robbing your neighbor" with every 6 rolled until time runs out (however long you decided ahead of time the game would last - 5 or 10 minutes maybe). Then guests unwrap whatever prizes they end up with when time has run out.
One thing we always do is include a roll of toilet paper as one of the prizes. Wrap this one very prettily and the people who helped plan the baby shower get to secretly laugh while everyone fights over this prize - and all the guests get a good laugh too when the toilet paper prize has been opened. There is this sense of anticipation while everyone is finding out just what exactly they have all been fighting over
3.4) Who Can Make The Mother-To-Be's Baby: (Materials - Baby magazines, Scissors, Glue, Paper). Have the women group up into teams of 3 and give each 3 baby magazines. Have them cut out pieces of different baby qualities and put together a picture of what they think the Mother-To-Be's baby will look like. Have the Mother-To-Be pick which baby would possibly look like hers the best! Give prizes to the winning team! One of the top baby shower games!
3. 36) Baby's First Food (Salad Bowl, Cotton Balls, Big Salad Spoon). Set up a salad bowl in the middle of a table, and empty out two bags of cotton balls - spreading them out around the bowl. Blindfold the first baby shower guest and ask her to sit near bowl with a big spoon and see how many cotton balls she can spoon into the bowl in 3 minutes. It's hilarious since you can't feel the weight of the cotton balls, you don't know what you're doing. Whomever gets the most in the bowl wins! Ideally, you would let the baby shower "mommy to be" and her relatives play as well as the baby shower planner. Thanks visitor Karen for this idea!
71) Baby Shower Food Race - (Materials: 4 blindfolds, 4 baby bottles, 4 plates, 4 baby food jars) - Get all baby shower guests that want to participate in pairs of 2. Each pair gets a baby food jar, baby bottle with apple juice(or some other type of drinkable liquid) and a blindfold. The one person in the pair that has the jar of baby food will get blindfolded and will have to feed their partner while both sitting across from each other in chairs. When they are done with the whole jar of baby food, the person blindfolded has to drink what is in the bottle to win. The first team to do this the quickest while racing wins! You can also have fun by replacing the babyfood with Jell-O or pudding to make it taste better but place it in the jars for authentic purposes :) Thanks to Rebecca from El Paso for this great idea!
wrap a gift numberous times and in each layer use the Passing instructions, Be as creative as you want with this. Some ideas are, pass the gift to:
some one wearing a blue shirt/ glasses/ socks/ earrings ect.someone who has most recently had a babysomeone who has the most childrensomeone who has the most daughters (or sons)three passes to you leftthree passes to you rightpass to the person directly across from yousome one who either has all girls or all boyssomeone who is an auntysomeone who is a grandmothersomeone with blonde hairsomeone wearing pinksomeone who is not related

this bag.
over the weekend i made a new purse, it turnede out great, suprisingly. i made it once before following the directions ( oh fransson's margaret sling bag ) and it was a little too big and floppy for me. great pattern and really easy to follow directions, but it wasnt getting used very often because it just didnt work for me. so i decided to try it again using really heavy iron on stuff instead of flannel interlining and i cut the pieces down some to make it smaller, it is a really big bag! here is the finished product:

tell me what you think...

christines baby shower
So, christine is having another baby boy... and i am hosting her shower, with the help of amanda. here are some of my ideas so far:
so we will have a dark blue/light blue theme. Also i had a great idea for favors, i dont like sending people home with baby things that they will never look at again, so i got a bunch of empty baby food jars and im going to stuff them with a cheesecake like pie but im going to die it baby blue... i hope it works out... i got the idea from pies baked in tiny jars @ not martha. Except im not a very good baker.... so she posted that someone she knows made frozen things in jars, which is way more my style :). im really excited to see how they come out. the pie is a friends "cheerio pie" recipe, i made it at christmas and it seemed to be a hit. i just hope it'll die blue with food coloring. i think itll be cute to give everyone something edible in a baby food jar! i plan on making labels for the jars that say something. something more clever than "its a boy" but i am not very clever, so i am still waiting on something more creative to come to me... (someone give me some ideas) (thats if anyone reads this, lol). anyway, thats my idea.
im still working on narrowing the games down to a few. maybe after i eat ill feel motivated to post my choices and let yall help me decide on a few. but thats all i have for now.
